| How To Deal With Depression |

Life is not always hard but what you do when life deals you a hard card cannot be overemphasized.

One of the very easy ways you can avoid dealing with difficulties is by suppressing or overlooking the problem you are facing. It requires almost no effort to not deal with hard times.

In my post, BEING NORMAL IS BORING I stated why you should denounce normalcy, it’s imperative that you deal with life as it comes and in other to do that, you will need to be prepared. This alone is a hard task and you will be required to double-down on your self-development.

  • work on accepting yourself first.
  • Work on being a forgiving person for your own health.
  • Work on being a proactive person for your relationships and business.

Strive to use everything and anything around you as an inspiration to getting the best out of life, even during hardship. Inspiration doesn’t happen at a particular hour of the day or season of the year. If you have no inspiration right this minute, don’t beat yourself up and feel that you’ve missed out on all the times you should have been inspired. It’s quite okay to be uninspired sometimes. What you do with the times you get an inspirations are the ones that matter the most.

At many points in my life, I have been uninspired and had doubts in the strength of my abilities.(some call it depression) I told myself at those points, Tanndy it’s okay to feel this way but it’s not okay to think you cannot come out of it. Only punk ass bitches give up and I ain’t no punk bitchπŸ€£πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸ™„

Don’t wait to manage crisis instead always try to stay ahead by pre-managing them or at least having a backup management plan that you can use when you feel like you are slowly sinking into crisis.

Prevention and prophylactic is better than cure.

I know that there are moments when life hits you so hard and you get so low that lifting yourself up and being inspired to keep going is an issue. It’s very okay.

My advice on how to navigate through difficulties, hard times or depression which has worked for me time and time again is to have a chain of great support system. Mine happens to be my best friends who I give an auto power of attorney to when I’m not being rational with my decision making.

I’ll like to take this moment to thank each of you awesome friends, who understand that it’s not a time to judge but a time to set me back to default mood. πŸ˜‚I’m grateful.

More than having these friends, is your ability to let them be in-charge. This is also means you have a responsibility to yourself and to your betterment, to choose your friends wisely. They can make or mare you.

If you don’t have friends who supports your process to betterment and greatness, if you can’t find even one person in your corner with your sole interest at heart, you might want to start being that friend to someone. Remember you attract what you are.

If you have to change your group of mediocre ‘friends’, hey, do what you have to do and move on.

This content is not to disregard the seriousness of depression or to make light an issue that has cost most their sanity or lives. Instead it’s an encouragement to anticipate low points in your life that may lead to depression and form a support system that can help you in those moments.
